Vi glæder os meget til at optræde med irsk dans på scenen på Rådhuspladsen, søndag den 15. marts 2026. Showet med irsk musik og dans starter kl. 14.00. Vi deltager naturligvis også i paraden kl. 15.30.
We are really excited to be performing at this years Copenhagen St Patrick’s Day Parade event at Rådhuspladsen on the 15th of March. We will be on stage from 14.00 and also walking in the parade at 15.30.

Copenhagen St. Patrick’s Day Parade
“Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day” and so, on the Sunday the 15th of March, people of all ages and nationalities are invited to be Irish for a day on Rådhuspladsen, Copenhagen. Together we celebrate the Irish national day with a festive afternoon of traditional Irish music and dance and a green parade through the streets of Copenhagen.
What’s on?
Kom og mød klubberne Copenhagen GAA og The Viking Gaels, der udøver de særlige irske sportsgrene gælisk fodbold og hurling. Det irske sprog-community Pop-Up Gaeltacht Cobánhávan står klar ved deres banner og inviterer til samtale på gælisk. Man kan købe irsk kaffe og varm kakao og til lækkersultne børn og voksne flot pyntede St. Patrick’s Day cookies. Prøv også en grøn øl eller ægte irsk stout.
På scenen præsenterer St. Patrick et forrygende show med irsk folkemusik og festlig irsk stepdans med Irish Harmonica Joel Andersson , Dark Green School of Irish Dancing og Copenhagen Irish Set Dancers.
Alle klædt i noget grønt kan deltage i paraden. Så find det grønne pynt frem og tag hele familien med i paraden: et tørklæde, en hat, paraply. Kun fantasien sætter grænser.
Børnene har mulighed for at få lagt flot St. Patrick’s Day ansigtsmaling helt gratis.
Paraden – det grønne festoptog
St. Patrick fører de glade grøntklædte deltagere gennem Indre Bys gader. Deltagerne i paraden inkluderer et bodhránorkester på irsk håndtromme, Gordon Pipes and Drums, Dark Green School of Irish Dancing, Irske ulvehunde, GAA, Pop-UP Gaeltacht, Irish Culture Association Denmark.
Parade Route: Rådhuspladsen – Vester Voldgade – Stormgade – Vindebrogade – Højbro Plads Gammelstrand – Nybrogade – Rådhusstræde – Gl. Torv – Nytorv – Slutterigade – Lavendelstræde – Vester Voldgade – Rådhuspladsen.
