MONDAY
5.00pm-6.30pm: Competition 1 (see class description on right)
6.30pm-7.30pm: adult beginners
TUESDAY
5.10pm-6.30pm: Children primary/intermediate
6.30pm-7.50pm: Adult primary 2/intermediate
WEDNESDAY
5.00pm-5.45pm:
Children novice
5.45pm-7.15pm: Competiton 2/Céilí/Technique (see class discription)
7.15pm-8.35pm: adult primary 1
PLEASE NOTE: Classes are held at Copenhagen International School in Hellerup
Students should meet in good time to change clothes BEFORE the class starts!
Rules and regulations:
- Students registered with DG may not attend classes in Irish dancing/"Riverdance" with other schools or teachers, unless it is agreed with DG´s teachers.
- All steps and choreographies used in class belongs to DG and may not be used for any public performances etc.unless it has been arranged with the teachers.
- Dances and choreographies taught in the classes may not be passed on to any dancer, who is not registered with DG.
- Candy, chips, gum, mobile phones and toys should not be brought to class. If a student wish to keep their mobile phone with them to avoid theft it must be switched off for the duration of the class.
- Dancers must meet for class in time to change clothes and shoes before the class starts.
If you are prevented from coming to class teachers must be informed no later than 1 hour before tha class starts. If you are running more than 15 minutes late you must also inform the teachers.
- Shorts or skirts no longer than above the knee must be worn in class. Long trousers or jeans will not be accepted as proper dance wear.
Long hair must be tied up.
- Students who wish to compete in feises and championships can do so if agreed with their teachers.
Only the teachers can register a dancer for a feis and will also determine on what level the dancer can compete.
- Students trasferred from another school/teacher may not use steps or dances from their previous classes at competitions, performances etc.
Breaking the rules can cause suspension from class and in severe cases expellment from the school.
